Proposal Tracks
The proposal tracks of the 2012 National Rehabilitation Educators Conference focus on current issues in rehabilitation education, practice, and research. The proposal tracks are:
(1) Rehabilitation legislative action: Strategies and interventions
(2) Health Care Reform and consumers with disabilities
(3) Improving service delivery outcomes for consumer with disabilities
(4) Rehabilitation education training outcomes: undergraduate and graduate interventions
(5) Evidence-based practice in rehabilitation counseling and education

Continuing Education Units
Continuing Education Units (CEU’s) will be available for the following: Pre-Conference Workshops, General and Concurrent Sessions and Poster Presentations conducted during the conference.
CEU’s for ethics and general credits will be available to all CRC holders.
- Ethics credits: between 7-9 hours
- General credits: between 10-12 hours

Please make sure to reserve your rooms early. Rooms at the conference rate are limited and cannot be guaranteed. The NCRE room block is only reserved for those who have registered and plan to attend the conference. When making reservations, please be sure to indicate the block of rooms under NCRE.
The cutoff date for room reservations at the conference rate of $139.00 a night for a single or double room plus 10.25% tax is Friday, March 23, 2012.

Reservations for the NCRE conference can be made directly with Marriott reservations at the toll free number, (1-800-228-9290) or directly with the hotel at (1-650-692-9100).

You will be directed to the San Francisco Airport Marriott Waterfront Hotel home page with the code already entered in the appropriate field. All you need to do is enter your arrival and departure date to begin the reservation process.

Hotel Discounts
NCRE attendees will pay $5.00 dollars a night for the Internet in sleeping rooms, reduced from $13.00 dollars a night during your entire stay.
NCRE attendees will receive a 10% discount at Flights 101 Lobby Lounge and Hangar Steak Restaurant both located in the main floor of the hotel. View the restaurant menus.
Conference Hotel Parking Discount
Fifty percent (50%) discount off 2012 onsite parking prices.
The on-site parking, fee is currently $20.00 USD daily. NCRE attendees will pay $10.00 USD daily.
In order to receive the discounted rate for you entire stay please inform the front desk when you check into the hotel.

The SFO Airport Marriott Hotel (main conference hotel) offers a complimentary shuttle to and from the San Francisco Airport with the following operating hours below.
Please note: To catch the airport shuttle you must go to the upper level (departures) and locate the designated courtesy stops outside each terminal (Marriott/Hyatt Regency).
4:00am – 9:00am Every 10 Minutes
9:00am – 7:00pm Every 15 Minutes
7:00pm – 11:00pm Every 10 Minutes
11:00pm –12:00am Every 15 minutes
Because the shuttle is a complementary service, unfortunately there are no reservations for pickup at the airport.
